Embracing Our Crowns
Our crowns cradle the brilliance of our inner worlds, radiating the wisdom that is us.
Our Scalp
Whether your head is adorned with a lush mane or shines beautifully bare, it's important to recognize the significance of your scalp's skin. This often-overlooked aspect of our body plays a pivotal role, impacting not only hair health but overall skin well-being. The scalp is a dynamic landscape, housing numerous hair follicles, sebaceous glands, and a network of blood vessels. For those with hair, these elements collaborate to maintain healthy, vibrant locks by producing essential sebum to nourish and protect hair strands, preventing brittleness. Simultaneously, the rich vascular system ensures a continuous flow of vital nutrients to the roots, supporting robust growth. Even if you've chosen a hairless path, caring for your scalp remains essential, as it contributes to overall skin health and comfort. Meticulous care and maintenance of this dynamic environment are paramount, guarding against common issues such as dryness, itchiness, and discomfort. Prioritizing scalp health benefits everyone, offering a foundation for overall skin wellness.
Our Hair
Like all living things, our hair has a growth and rest cycle. Our hair is an extension of ourselves, a beautiful and unique expression of who we are. It is a symbol of growth, vitality, and strength. And just like every other part of our body, our hair undergoes a natural process of growth and renewal that typically takes place over several years.

The growth and rest cycle of our hair is a delicate and intricate process, carefully orchestrated by our bodies. It is a reflection of the love and intention with which our bodies care for us, providing us with this incredible crown of beauty.
During the anagen phase, which can last for several years, our hair follicles work tirelessly to produce new hair cells, and our hair shaft grows longer with each passing day. This is a time of growth and abundance, a reflection of the love and care that our bodies have for us. The anagen phase is the active growth phase, during which the hair follicle produces new hair cells, and the hair shaft grows longer.

During the catagen phase, which typically lasts for a few weeks, our hair follicles take a well-deserved break, shrinking and preparing for the next phase of the cycle. This is a time of rest and rejuvenation, a reflection of the intention and care with which our bodies approach our hair growth cycle. The catagen phase is a transitional phase, during which the hair follicle shrinks and the hair shaft is cut off from its blood supply.

During the telogen phase, which can last for several months, our hair follicles are at peace, enjoying a period of rest and reflection. This is a time for us to reflect on the beauty of our hair and the incredible love and intention that our bodies put into maintaining its health and vitality. The telogen phase is a resting phase, during which the hair follicle is at rest and no new hair growth occurs. This phase can last for several months, and about 10-15% of the hair on your scalp is in this phase at any given time.

And then, as the cycle starts all over again, we are reminded of the incredible power of growth and renewal that lies within us. Our hair is a reflection of our inner beauty, a testament to the love and intention that we bring to every aspect of our lives. May we always cherish and celebrate this incredible gift, and honor the love and intention that our bodies put into caring for us every day.

I am willing to embrace my crown.
As we like to say, “Love begins with the skin.” So start loving on you with this dropper full of goodness.
For best results, shake well and apply individual droplets to your scalp before bed. Massage gently for a full five minutes while breathing deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Make sure to evenly distribute the serum and give your scalp the attention it deserves. If you wear locs braids, Crown is a great refresher! You can also apply as needed to bring support those particularly vexed areas—whether tight, itchy, or inflamed.
Crown is made with whole-plant infusion, which preserves the natural synergy, balance, and wisdom of the plants. When combined, these ingredients have been known to provide a range of benefits for the scalp, such as nourishing and strengthening hair, promoting healthy hair growth, protecting the scalp from irritation and infection, and soothing inflammation and oxidative stress.
May Crown bring you peace and nourishment on your journey and serve as a reminder of the beauty and abundance that surrounds us.
